Did you know that scientists have recorded at least 20 different “words” used by prairie dogs, that some ants can recognize their nest-mate just by smell, or that some fish actually raise their eggs in their mouth? These are just a few interesting animal behavior facts that we will explore in this fascinating camp. We will be combining hands-on experiments with outdoor activities to introduce you to the fascinating world of animal behavior. We will leave this camp with a newfound appreciation and understanding of why some animals behave the way that they do.
