Minecraft is a digital sandbox, a world-building game that offers expansive and creative play. In this camp, we’ll use the Minecraft Education Edition to imagine, build and create in a shared Minecraft world. The Minecraft Education Edition allows campers to create a single world in which they collaborate on various building challenges in a safe, controlled environment accessible only by Science Discovery. We’ll work together to design a Minecraft city and learn about circuits and electricity as we build our power grid. We’ll also learn the building blocks of computer programming, using block-based languages (like Tynker and Scratch) to program an agent within our Minecraft world. Come join us as we play together with a purpose. No previous programming experience needed!
