CU Science Discovery invites applications for a semester-long internship in Informal Science Education. Interns will meet on Monday afternoons from 2-3:50 pm at Science Discovery (Science Learning Laboratory, East Campus) and will assist in after-school STEM classes at Science Discovery or at community sites during the second half of the semester. The internship program includes 8 weeks of training and 6 weeks of practicum experience in an after-school setting. Students will be eligible to receive 2 units of internship (IPHY, ENVS) or independent study (GEOG) credit with their home department for successful completion of the course.
Applications are due by 5 pm on Friday, November 8, 2013. Applicants will be notified about their status by December 6, 2013. Successful applicants may then enroll in the internship or independent study through the appropriate Department.
