Supervised Lunch
Science Discovery provides free lunchtime supervision from 12-1 pm for students taking an AM and PM class at the same site (e.g., CU Main Campus, Science Learning Lab, CCD). Please bring a bagged lunch.
Extended Day Option
For a small additional fee ($25 per week), Science Discovery provides extended care from 4-5 pm. This option is only available for students taking classes on CU’s Main Campus.
Summer Class Cancellation Policy
Science Discovery has modified its cancellation policy in order to minimize the number of class spots that are unused due to last-minute cancellations.
Cancellations made more than 15 business days prior to the start of the class will incur a $35 administrative fee. NO refunds will be given for cancellations made within 15 business days of the start of the class. In the event that a class is cancelled by Science Discovery, registrants will receive a full refund.
Transfer requests made up to 15 days prior to the start of the class will incur a $15 administrative fee. Transfer requests made within 15 business days will incur a $35 administrative fee.
Discount Options
Early Bird Discount: We are excited to introduce an Early Bird discount option for all paid registrations completed between January 30 and February 28, 2013. All registrations paid in full will receive a 5% discount. This discount may not be combined with any other discounts, coupons or gift certificate offers.
Multi-Class Discount: Science Discovery offers a 10% discount to all families registering for 5 or more summer classes. The discount begins with the fifth class and is applied to the least expensive class(es). This discount may not be combined with any other discounts, coupons or gift certificate offers. Please call 303-492-7188 to utilize this discount.
CU Faculty and Staff Discount: Current CU faculty and staff are entitled to a 10% discount on all class registrations. Simply register online, providing a verifiable department name. This discount may not be combined with any other discounts, coupons or gift certificate offers.
Scholarships
Scholarships are provided depending upon availability of funding and financial need. Requests for financial assistance are received and approved on a first come/first served basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible. CU Science Discovery strives to provide as many scholarships as possible to children who may otherwise be unable to attend classes – please consider this when determining the amount you can pay for classes. If you are applying for aid for multiple students, please complete a separate form for each student.
